Horseback Riding with Grandpa!

I grew up on a 20 acre ranch with lots and lots of horses. Most of the horses were for show or breeding, so we didn't do a lot of riding while growing up. But, now my dad has some old, very tame horses so, while we were in California he invited the kids over to ride one night. Gillian was really sick, so she didn't get to go, but Davis, Ryan and Ginger loved it!

Grandpa is known for cruising around the ranch with a pile of his grandkids going for the ride. We miss those days!

Heidi,
I found your blog through the Barlow's. Your family is so great! It's fun to see you guys at Faria. That's our favorite beach up there!
Love you,

Don and Heidi,
I hate to do this here, but this is the only way I know to contact any of your family. I just wanted to let you know that my father, Robert Kelly, passed away last Friday evening, June 27. His obituary can be found online with Deseret News this past Sunday and with Ventura County Star tomorrow (Tuesday). Please let your parents and sibs. know. To contact my family, you or your family can e-mail me at jtgooch@earthlink.net or see our blog familyintheclouds.blogspot.com.
Thank you.

hey heidi and don, i want you to know i grieve with you and with you, pray for your entire family to take one day at a time to heal. my mom took extensive notes from the funeral for me since i regrettably could not be there (live in tennessee). don, you were undoubtedly chosen to speak for your wit, humor and knowledge. thank you for your words. my brother bennett described the service as quite uplifting and that if you didn't know better, you'd have thought it was a missionary conference on the plan of salvation. perfect. now that i know you have this blog, i hope i can keep in touch with you through it. i just started one for my wutkee family a week and a half ago. respectfully, much of it is about ginger. but we will all create new memories of her in a new way. "when i grow up... i want to be a mother... and have a family. one little two little three little babies of my own..." priceless. you are in my prayers.
